About me

Welcome on my website,

I am Jordy, a Dutch guy that really loves Taiwan. The coming 6 months I will be travelling through Taiwan (and other parts of Asia). People can follow me on this website.

My hometown is The Hague in the Netherlands, where I live and work. In daily life I am an engineer and work for the region of South Holland. If people are really interested in my work send me a message.

My love for Taiwan started a few years ago when I visited 2 friends of mine who were studying Chinese here. After my first visit I fell in love with the country and have been back several times. This is my sixth visit and in the future there will be a lot more.

Fun fact: my height is 2 meters and people refer to me as “The friendly giant”, especially in Taiwan they look up to me 😉
